April 26 - 29 Maui, Hawaii, Part 1

I was lucky enough to be invited on this trip by my friend Jan, her daughter, son-in-law and 1 year old grandson, Brody. My plan was to drive to Seattle and fly from there. As the time approached, I just wasn't ready for the drive from California so I flew from Ontario, CA to Seattle. Jan and Brody picked me up at the Seattle airport and I spent the evening at Jan's. The shuttle picked us up at 4:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Brody rides through the airport in his car seat which has its own 'hand truck'!

This is my new buddy, Brody!  Oh the facial expressions this child has!

The sun is going down.

And then it sets

And another day ends

April 22 - Joshua Tree National Park

An outing with Sharon to Joshua Tree thinking we would see blooms.  Unfortunately, we were a few days too late according to something I read later, but it was a fun day.

I can't get enough of unusual rock 'piles'
Look very close and you can see rock climbers
